Karen is thrilled to be part of ReMax at the Lakes! She’s looking forward to working with all those wanting to sell, relocate, or purchase in any of the Loudon, Knox, Monroe, and Roane county areas. Karen graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, then obtained her Masters from Tennessee Tech University. For almost 20 years, she taught high school mathematics and coached cheerleading in the area before going into real estate. She began her real estate career with Coldwell Banker, then moved to the Greg Norman golf community, Tennessee National, located in Loudon. She achieved a very successful career selling lots and homes while working at Tennessee National, wearing many hats during the start-up phase, including participation in marketing development, home shows throughout the U.S., presentations to groups of potential customers, and recruitment of several of Knoxville’s finest home builders to Tennessee National. After a successful run at Tennessee National, she left to join one of Knoxville’s Premier Developers, Schaad Companies. Her success continued within the Schaad communities as well as other Knoxville and Maryville neighborhoods. As the market turned, Karen became a Production Trainer at the B&W Y12 Nuclear Facility for almost three years while maintaining her real estate career part-time with Keller Williams. Realizing her true passion is and always has been real estate, Karen has returned full force and completely energized the real estate profession!

Karen currently lives in Lenoir City on Fort Loudon Lake where she enjoys boating, motorcycling, and hiking. She believes in utilizing current technologies, social media, and some “old school” ways to better market your home and assist buyers in making their dream home a reality. She knows that a good agent listens first and then works diligently to bring sellers and buyers together for a perfect fit.
