» Spaghetti Dinner: October 18 from 4:30 to 7 pm
Open to everyone! Enjoy the fellowship, great food, and meet your new neighbors at the Community Church Christian Life Center (CLC). The cost is $8 per person and includes spaghetti (all you can eat), salad, bread, drink, and dessert or 1/4 chicken, green beans, salad, bread, drink, and dessert.
» Tellico Village Movie Night: McFarland, USA (Disney): October 25 at 6:15 pm
Jim White moves his family after losing his last job as a football coach. He sees that some of the students are worth starting a cross-country team and turns seven students with no hope into one of the best cross-country teams in the nation. Stars Kevin Costner, Maria Bello, and Ramiro Rodriguez.
The movie will be shown in the Christian Life Center (CLC) at the Community Church at Tellico Village and is open to everyone. Popcorn, ice cream, and water will be available.
» Trunk and Treat Halloween Fun: October 27 from 10 am to noon
What a day for all the children! A chance to have fun, dress up in Halloween costumes, enjoy the treats, participate in games, and be safe – all at the same time. On Saturday, October 27, everyone is invited to this year’s Trunk and Treat event. This free event will be held rain or shine at the Community Church at Tellico Village. This is an outreach event for the entire surrounding area, and everyone is invited.
“As a recent father of twin girls, I know how excited they are at this time of year and how they are looking forward to this event,” said Pastor Devin Phillips. “I hope to meet many of the area families and their children on that Saturday.”
Adults can decorate their cars, dress up, stock up on their favorite candy, and meet the children of the area as they laugh, play, and hopefully won’t pull any tricks.
