New Vonore Clinic to Open Soon

Chota Community Health Services, Monroe County’s largest primary healthcare provider, is proud to announce that its new Vonore medical clinic is nearing completion and will be opening soon.
With three convenient locations in Madisonville, Tellico Plains, and our new state-of-the-art medical facility in Vonore, we are positioned to offer medical services of the highest quality, right in your neighborhood. We encourage you to come by the next time you find yourself in need of medical services, or if you just feel like it’s time for a check-up!
Our Tellico Plains and interim Vonore offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm. We are open in Madisonville 7 days a week from 8:00am – 5:30pm, so should the need arise, we can take care of you on the weekends at our main clinic. We offer language translation services and video translation for sign language free of charge.
Every one of our medical providers has designated same-day appointments every day, because we know that the need for healthcare comes on your schedule, not ours.
The friendly professionals at our clinics are able to perform all of the necessary diagnostic testing that may be required during your visit. All three of our clinics perform laboratory testing on-site. At our Madisonville location we have a top notch digital radiology department performing x-ray and DEXA scans.
Chota Community Health Services offers 24/7 after-hours on-call service, so you can speak to one of our highly qualified medical providers, even when we are closed.
Our patients can also benefit from our 340B prescription drug discount program that gives uninsured or underinsured patients access to discounts on prescription medications, through partnerships with our local community pharmacies. This also applies to patients in the Medicare donut hole. Ask about it! To apply for the sliding fee program, please bring proof of one month’s income (this could be a tax return, W-2, one month’s work of check stubs, unemployment benefits, SSI benefits, etc.).
At our Madisonville clinic, we also have behavioral health counseling services available.
We also maintain partnerships with specialists to bring their services to our county when possible. For example, Allergy, Asthma, & Sinus Center comes to our Madisonville clinic every week to provide allergy testing and services!
Chota Community Health Services was selected as a 2020 Million Hearts Hypertension Control Champion. Million Hearts has recognized 15 solo practitioners, large health systems, community health centers, and specialty groups as 2020 Hypertension Control Champions. In their work, these Champions were able to achieve blood pressure control for at least 80% of their adult patients with hypertension.
