Crafters Fundraiser at the Tellico Village Community Church

The Crafters at the Tellico Village Community Church are busily preparing for their first fundraising event of 2018. On Saturday, March 24, from 9 am to noon, the crafters will be selling a wide variety of homemade crafts and baked goods. The sale is held in the Christian Life Center of the church, which is located at 130 Chota Center in Tellico Village.
As in the past, items for sale include many types of seasonal floral arrangements, original paper goods such as greeting cards and bridge tallies, all sorts of potential hostess gifts, and a wide variety of sewn crafts. Every person who ever washes dishes makes a dash to the table where “scrubbies” are on sale. Be sure to get a supply of these handy gadgets before they run out.
Your mailbox may need a spring or summer cover, so come and see what is available for the spring and summer months. If you don’t see what you want on display, pick one from the catalog that the Crafters will have available.
Ladies, bring your husbands along and direct them to the baked goods table. While you are shopping, they can select from a variety of baked goods, including cookies, brownies, breads, cakes, etc.
Although the Community Church sponsors the Crafters, church membership is not required; they welcome anyone who has an interest in meeting other people with similar interests. If you are new to the village, it is a great way to make new friends. If you are interested, drop by the Christian Life Center on Monday mornings and check them out.
The proceeds from the sale benefit charities and organizations in Loudon and Monroe counties. Be sure to come to the sale and find some treasures while supporting your community.
