Scheduled to open on Monday, March 19, 2012 with a Grand Opening on Saturday, April 7th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. is the community’s newest retail business, Premiere Consignment.
“With the large number of homeowners continuing to relocate to our area and with others downsizing to smaller households, an upscale furniture consignment store makes a lot of sense,” said Premiere Consignment co-owner Becky Hunt, a Tellico Village realtor for the past nine years. “I’ve witnessed first-hand the dilemma faced by many homeowners with quality furniture from their former home that either didn’t fit or just didn’t work in their new home, or other times just redecorating.”
“We offer area residents the ideal situation with which to sell their quality and no longer used furniture, art, antiques, and home décor items in an attractive retail setting that is designed to create a more upscale and satisfying retail experience, as well as to enhance the potential to successfully sell your items,” stated Aaron Hunt, co-owner and, yes, Becky’s son and former Clemson University football player. “Other added features include the convenience of not having to wait by the telephone for people to respond to a newspaper classified, not having to pay to advertise your items, and peace of mind from not having to invite total strangers into your home.”
Located at 320 Lakeside Plaza on Ritchey Road in Tellico Village, next to Classico Italian Restaurant, Premiere Consignment is now accepting high quality, upscale, lightly used furniture, rugs, throw pillows, artwork, home décor items, and golf equipment. They will also feature a wide selection of new floral arrangements.
