Heirloom Furniture

For generations, our parents, grandparents, and even great grandparents purchased (and sometimes custom crafted) furniture that would be passed on to children and grandchildren. So unique, hand-crafted, and possessing a level of character uncommon in today’s offshore production line systems of furniture manufacturing, this furniture was destined to become heirloom quality pieces that would be treasured by future generations of family members.
Gone are our nation’s finest furniture manufacturers whose factories once housed skilled artisans who produced some of the highest quality furniture in the world. Today even those furniture brands touted as producing the finest quality furniture in the world now produce their furniture on assembly lines in countries like Vietnam.
Fortunately, Americans who still seek quality furnishings have rediscovered quality, hand-crafted Amish furniture. Buyers are surprised to discover that genuine Amish furnishings are available in a wide variety of styles, often upholstered, and not just the shaker or mission style for which Amish craftsmen are so well known. But even Amish furniture buyers need to exercise caution, as occasionally assembly line manufacturers employing Amish workers have been known to brand the furniture they sell as genuine Amish made.
All of the furniture we sell at Amish Excellence, located in nearby and convenient Farragut, is produced one piece at a time in woodworking shops located on individual Amish family farms just as it has been for generations. I personally visit the home of each of the nearly three dozen craftsmen whose furniture I have chosen to market, and I communicate with them directly to ensure that each and every piece they hand craft is made to your exact specifications. As a result of this simple but unique business model, our customers can purchase quality, custom made, hand-crafted furniture, often at prices below what they might expect to pay for similar, lower quality furniture elsewhere.
Now celebrating our first year in Knoxville, Amish Excellence has become an overwhelming success thanks entirely to all of our wonderful customers who have encouraged and supported us. We are proud to announce that in order to meet the growing demand for our genuine Amish hand-crafted furniture, we will be more than doubling the size of our present showroom in early May. I would like to take this opportunity to invite the readers of Everything Knoxville to visit our newly expanded showroom to discover all of the possibilities that exist with genuine Amish furniture and to rediscover the lost tradition of creating heirloom quality furniture for future generations.
