To begin, let me offer my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your support and encouragement since purchasing The Robin’s Nest in historic downtown Sweetwater. It’s been a time of transition and learning, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.
We have two exciting changes as The Robin’s Nest. First is our expanded gourmet kitchen area with baking, canning, and hard-to-find kitchen tools and accessories, as well as gourmet foods including Stonewall Kitchen, the Raven’s Nest, The Pasta Shoppe, and Blanton’s candies, which are made right here in Sweetwater. In addition to unique gifts, The Robin’s Nest continues to offer you a complete line of wild bird supplies, including a wide variety of bird baths, the very popular PAR-A-SOL hummingbird feeders and supplies, Audubon feeders, houses, and, yes, even mealworms. We also feature a variety of garden accessories from statuaries and urns to trellises and heirloom seeds for your vegetable and flower garden!
Now for the big news! I am so excited to announce an entirely new product line, CeCe Caldwell’s eco-friendly, natural clay paints. These paints are completely safe for you and your family. CeCe Caldwell’s paints are chalk and clay based paints that contain no VOC’s, are non-toxic, and are odorless. The minerals in these paints are clay, porcelain clay, and chalk blended into a water base solution.
These paints are easy enough for a first-time DIYer and yet perform well enough for use by professional painters and furniture finishers. The paints are self priming. Just start with a clean surface, and complete coverage can be achieved with one or two coats. CeCe Caldwell offers several finishing waxes and glazes to enable you to achieve just the right look for your piece. Cleanup is fast and easy, requiring only warm, soapy water.
CeCe Caldwell’s paints come in a wide palette of colors that are inspired from coastal regions, our soaring mountain areas, great plain fields, our spectacular deserts, big cities, and rural towns.
In addition, we will be offering beginning and finishing classes, as well as one-on-one classes. Please like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/catherinesrobinsnest, or give us a call for our class schedule.
Everything you need to create your next masterpiece can be found at The Robin’s Nest, where you’ll discover a truly unique place to shop.
