After being closed for almost eight weeks, The Lily Pad has reopened stronger and better than ever! We used our downtime wisely by ripping up carpet and installing new wood flooring, repainting, and making some minor changes to the layout of the store to provide more space.
The best part of being closed was that it truly made us count our blessings even more than usual… and you, our customers and friends, are what we missed most! We are so pleased that we can now visit with you again – even though we miss the hugs and the smiles behind those masks!
As you know, fashions have been moving in a more casual direction even before the pandemic and now, more than ever, we are seeing that trend continue as our lifestyles become even more laid back than before. As you ease into the wonderful East Tennessee summer and our more relaxed lifestyle, you will naturally gravitate to a more comfy wardrobe… one that is suitable for outdoor entertaining or an evening on the lake.
Summer is also the season we look forward to welcoming back your summer houseguests, many of whom have shopped with us before and cannot wait for their annual visit to The Lily Pad. Remember, you can easily entertain your guests for an entire day in our quaint little town… an eclectic mix of shops and eateries with easy parking. Whether they are antique lovers or they simply want a day filled with fashion, food, and fun… we are looking forward to seeing you and your summertime visitors again!
