Don’t Get Zapped by Electrical Problems!

Electrical work around your home or business can be a bit frightening – for obvious reasons! You want to get the right electrician to do the job correctly the first time, for a good price, who knows what they’re doing and can get to you quickly.
This month, East Tennessee’s Mountain Views is pleased to introduce Jason Amagrande, the owner of Amagrande Electric Service, a family-owned business based in Loudon.
MV: Tell our readers a little bit about you and why you started your electrician business.
Jason: I graduated high school in California in 1998. My next-door neighbor, Fred Jacobs, was an electrician, and he asked if I would like to work for him: I said, “yes!” I worked for him for 10 years until the business took a downturn, along with the entire housing market in 2008. I decided to enhance my skills by joining the electrician’s union. I worked as a union electrician in California for 10 years. In 2018, I tore my bicep tendon, so I used the time it took to heal to study for and acquire my contractor’s license.
MV: What led you to move to Tennessee from California?
Jason: My wife’s mom grew up in Lenoir City and we wanted to be close to her family.
MV: Tell us a little about your qualifications/training and background as an electrician.
Jason: In total, I have 24 years of electrical experience. Of those 24 years, 10 are in residential work, 10 are in union commercial/industrial work (including public works jobs), and 4 are in my own business. While in Tennessee, I obtained my LLE (Limited Licensed Electrician) license and my CE (Electrical Contractor) license. I am also bonded and insured.
MV: What are some of the most common electrical jobs that you do?
Jason: General service and repair, troubleshooting power loss and GFCI problems, panel upgrades, safety upgrades to panels and dock power, and electric car charger installations.
MV: What makes you different than other electricians our readers might use?
Jason: I have both my LLE and my CE electrician licenses. I am the owner-operator, which means I answer the phone, give the estimates, and do the work myself. I also don’t sell customers services they may not need.
MV: How would you describe your business philosophy?
Jason: Complete customer satisfaction is our goal. After I’ve done a job for you, if you trust me enough to refer me to a friend or family member, that is the highest praise I can receive. I want to show you that your trust in my work is warranted by the excellent service I do for you.
MV: Anything else you would like to add?
Jason: Yes. Check out our reviews on Yelp at https://www.yelp.com/biz/amagrande-electric-service-loudon-3
So, if you have electrical needs and are looking for a someone you can trust, someone who is licensed and experienced, but won’t push things on you that you don’t need, contact Jason at Amagrande Electric Service.
