First National Bank Now Open in Vonore

First National Bank is now open for business in Vonore. The new office is the community bank’s 10th location and is located at 2041 Highway 411. We will be celebrating our grand opening during the week of July 28th with food and prizes for all and a luncheon scheduled for Friday, August 1st, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We hope everyone will have an opportunity to stop in for a visit with our staff and enjoy cool summer refreshments.
Branch Manager, Cindy Evans, points to the bank’s longevity as an example of its stability, which is increasingly important to bank customers.
“First National Bank was founded in 1907,” she said. “We are proud to be a community bank, and we understand that our success depends in large part on the success of our local community. We actively participate in various community programs in the East Tennessee counties First National serves, and we look forward to supporting Vonore as well.”

Along with traditional checking and savings products, the bank offers online banking, electronic bill payment, and mobile banking. Rates are still very low, and First National offers a wide variety of mortgage options for most borrowers. Fixed rate loans feature payment and interest amortization of up to 30 years with a locked in interest rate and payment amount. They also offer residential and land/lot loans and a wide variety of conventional, FHA, or VA home mortgages.
Rounding out the Vonore team are Amy Maynor, FSR and Assistant Manager, with Angel Johnson, FSR and Teller.
