High temperatures may not give you pause to consider August as a fashion transition month, but in only four short weeks, the thermometer will begin to moderate, and September will begin to usher in what promises to be a spectacular season of incredible autumn colors.

Another big event this month is our Annual UT Fashion Show and tailgate luncheon on Monday, August 27, at 11:30 am in Sweetwater Flower Shop’s very own in-boutique restaurant, Upstairs at The Mansion. This event always kicks off our UT football season, which begins on September 1 when UT plays West Virginia. Our special football menu will include all your favorite tailgate cuisine items, including pulled pork, slaw, homemade barbeque sauce, potato salad, pasta salad, mini cupcakes, and drinks – all for just $15 per person.
