Southern Cuisine Upstairs at the Mansion will officially open for lunch beginning on Friday, August 9th. Local restaurateur, Janice Alley, will offer a variety of on-menu Southern specialties, including many of your Upstairs at the Mansion favorites such as Fried Green Tomatoes and Signature BLTs. Southern Cuisine Upstairs at the Mansion, located on the second floor of Sweetwater Flower Shop, will also offer a combination of full lunch buffet, hot bar only or salad bar only choices, and daily sandwich specials that are sure to become favorites with diners as well, particularly those who may be on a tight schedule.
Janice’s culinary experience includes 20 years of restaurant ownership and management in Rhea County, TN, and Cleveland, OH, in addition to her passion for both cooking and baking. You’ll also have an opportunity to savor a wide selection of her popular homemade daily dessert and candy specials, and if you’re celebrating a special event, you can pre-order your dessert choice so it will be ready when you arrive to dine.
Southern Cuisine Upstairs at the Mansion will be open during lunch Thursday through Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm and is also available to host your special events, including graduations, anniversaries, and birthdays. In-house catering is also available for a whole host of gatherings at a date and time convenient for you. Meat and cheese, cookie, and candy trays are also available. Southern Cuisine replaced Kelly D’s, who was forced to close for personal health reasons. We wish Kelly the very best and thank her for her fine efforts on behalf of all of our customers.
