When recalling special moments and memories in the life of The Lily Pad, none is more memorable or meaningful than our first annual Fashion Fights Back fashion show last October. On a beautiful sunny October afternoon, 10 of our customers who were either fighting their battle with breast cancer or are breast cancer survivors modeled fall fashions at The Lily Pad. To support and honor our many customers and friends whose lives have been touched by this disease, we have pledged to support them in the way we do best… Fashion Fights Back!
As you know, nearly 250,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year… your mother, sister, daughter, wife, or even you! We have committed to give a portion of every item sold on this day to the American Cancer Society. Last year we raised more than $1,000 to help fund innovative research and provide free information and support programs to patients and caregivers.
On October 19, we will be honoring 10 more of our friends and family members who have witnessed firsthand the dreaded diagnosis of breast cancer. Please plan to join us at The Lily Pad as we again present Fashion Fights Back, a show by women for these women who are such an inspiration to all of us. There is no charge to attend the show, refreshments will be served, and a spring trunk show from Joseph Ribkoff will also be a special part of this incredible day.
We encourage you to RSVP at either 423-337-5537 or lilypadboutique@bellsouth.net since we will have treats for everyone attending! Join us at The Lily Pad as FASHION FIGHTS BACK!
