Inside or Out: Give Us a Shout!

Let me apologize for that lengthy title. For this month’s article, my husband, John, wanted me to write something that encompassed ALL we do. Ten years ago we were a “tile and grout” company that also did carpet, so a catchy subject was a pretty short order. But a decade later we have found ourselves specializing in so many other surfaces that it makes for a lengthy title!
Most everyone around Knoxville knows that we are the best at cleaning tile and grout, but surprisingly we still have clients that don’t know that one of our most in-demand services is exterior natural stone (bluestone, flagstone, slate, etc.). We also do all sorts of carpet cleaning, from steam extraction to Roto-vac restoration, both with eco-friendly cleaners. For our clients that want to go the extra mile, we offer Scotchgard protection. We continue to resurrect many carpets and save our clients costly replacements.
But back to our exterior services. What began as mostly driveways and walkways expanded quickly to docks, pool decks, and composite decking. As word got around about how good we were at exterior surfaces, we began to get numerous requests for soft washing and vertical surfaces. So this year we invested in equipment to safely soft wash houses and roofs made of sensitive and exotic material: Cedar shakes and shingles, stucco, vinyl, and brick. For roofs, we can tackle asphalt shingles, slate, clay, and even metal. Once your outdoor surfaces are clean, many areas can be sealed to protect it for years from the abuse of Mother Nature.

Since the product we use also contains a commercial grade rinse aid, when Surface Doc does an exterior soft wash, you also get the added benefit of clean windows!
