Here at Courtley Chiropractic, our heart is to help people not only with their current health challenges but with their future health as well. It may surprise you to learn that your body is designed to heal itself – from a cut on your skin to a broken bone. If your body is not healing itself, it’s our job to find out why. Many times, when faced with this situation, people start masking their symptoms through medications and a variety of other methods that can end up further increasing inflammation and leading to more disease and discomfort down the road.
Our mission here at Courtley Chiropractic is twofold. We want to help relieve pain and ease symptoms, but we are also passionate about teaching you about your body and how to gain and maintain overall health. Our goal is to empower you for the future and help you be healthy and active.
We are also excited about our new, expanded hours in our Tellico Village location next to Food Lion! Previously, we were only open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to noon in Tellico Village. Now, we are open Mondays from 9 am to noon and then from 3 pm to 5 pm, Tuesdays from 9:00 am to noon, Wednesdays from 3 pm to 5 pm, and Thursdays from 9:00 am to noon. These new hours are in addition to our operating hours in our Farragut office.

Dr. Scott Courtley grew up north of Detroit in Shelby Township, Michigan. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Michigan and received his doctorate from Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. After completing his doctorate, he came to Tennessee and founded Courtley Chiropractic here in Tellico Village. After ten years, Dr. Courtley’s practice expanded to serve the broader Knoxville community for over 25 years. Earlier this year he returned to Tellico Village to reopen his second office.
Dr. Courtley has helped thousands of people regain their health and improve their quality of life, and he believes that God has anointed him to help thousands more. He constantly studies the newest chiropractic techniques, both integrator and traditional manipulation, and continuously integrates them into his practice to achieve maximum results for his patients. Not only that, but he is also deeply involved in the chiropractic revolution seminars. When he is not working, you will find him outdoors, as he especially enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time on the lake with his family.
For your first visit, we will carefully evaluate your condition(s) through x-rays and personal evaluation techniques. A doctor will then thoroughly explain their findings to you and develop a customized plan for your needs. We don’t just use a one-size-fits-all approach when treating our patients. We create a personalized plan, using a variety of techniques for each and every one. Constantly keeping up on the latest advances in Chiropractic care, we are able to utilize the method that will best help you.
