Creating a Lifetime of Memories

Most of us have those moments when we reflect on those special childhood memories with our family, grandparents, and best friends. Maybe it was the tree house your father built or your first time fishing when even the smallest catch appeared larger than life. Perhaps it was the time when your grandmother first let you help her bake Christmas cookies with her or that time you roasted marshmallows at your grandparent’s home on a fire that you and your grandfather built together.
Life is a collection of special memories and future memories waiting to be created. But busy lives seem to interfere with future memories much more today than anytime in the past.
Doesn’t it make sense to capture those special moments that you, your children, and grandchildren will remember for a lifetime? Why wait? Why not start creating those special moments today?
Here’s an idea. How about building a fire pit in your own backyard that you and your spouse, children, grandchildren, and close friends can enjoy for many years to come? And not just any fire pit. How about a fire pit that not only offers many safety features, but also accentuates your home’s landscaping and exterior finish?
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could purchase all of the materials required to construct your fire pit from a single source? Well, you can.
In business for nearly three decades, Seiler Block Company, conveniently located near historic downtown Sweetwater, has all of the materials available to construct an affordable, attractive, and safe fire pit even if you are not a skilled craftsman. The end result is a beautiful fire pit that will be the envy of your neighborhood.
Constructed from rustic concrete block available in both a variety of colors and finishes such as tumbled stone, the blocks are manufactured in precise size to aid in construction. It’s as easy as 1-2-3.
First, select a suitable location for your fire pit. Consider safety, view, and access. Second, mark your location on the ground with spray paint. Even flour will do. Third, begin placing the first row of blocks in a circular pattern. Continue with the second, third, and fourth rows. Apply the adhesive provided between rows. Fourth, place the fire pit insert on top of the fourth row of blocks.
You’re finished! It’s time to step back and admire your work. Allow 48 hours for the adhesive to cure before using.
When you’re ready, just add newspaper, kindling, and a small amount of firewood to begin. Add additional firewood as needed. Now you’re ready to relax, roast marshmallows, or even barbeque in front of your fire pit.
